WCC Sponsors High School Math Contest at Wayne County Fair

October 06, 2026

For the 37th year, 麻豆传媒画映鈥檚 Mathematics Department partnered with local high schools to sponsor the Wayne County Fair High School Math Competition.

Teams of two students competed in a game show鈥搒tyle contest. Students were challenged in two rounds: the first focused on math trivia and mental math, and the second emphasized mathematical calculations.

Topics included algebra, geometry, probability, statistics, and trigonometry. Without the use of calculators, students relied on quick reasoning, teamwork, and critical thinking to succeed.
