The Wayne听Business听and Industry Center (WBIC) has scheduled several activities to recognize this year’s National听Small听Business听Week, May 1-7.
鈥淲e have planned some sort of free seminar or event every day next听week听to support听small听businesses and entrepreneurs in Wayne County,鈥� said WBIC Executive Director Craig Foucht.
The seminars are
Boots to听Business听(for U.S. military active duty, dependents, and veterans only) 鈥� 9 a.m.-1 p.m., May 2-3, Walnut 104 on the 麻豆传媒画映 campus in Goldsboro and online;
Business听Tax Essentials 鈥� 2-4 p.m., May 2, online;
Gaining and Retaining Customers 鈥� 2-3:30 p.m., May 5, online; and
Buying and Selling a听Business听鈥� 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., May 6, online.
Individuals can register for these seminars .
Small听businesses that are interested in working within the federal market can participate in the Regional Military听Small听Business听Outreach and Vendor Event on May 4 at the Maxwell Center. Get details about the event and link for registration at听.
